Moisture Barrier Installed in Rumson, New Jersey
Challenge
Rumson, New Jersey resident contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after noticing water seepage along the walls and floor of their concrete floor crawl space. The crawl space was experiencing moisture and humidity concerns due to the standing water in the space and the vents allowing drafts inside. The homeowner knew that over time, if ignored, the space would become nasty creating poor quality air that would eventually travel up into to the home. System Design Specialist, Jeff Nero, came out and provided the homeowner with a full inspection so that they could design a solution that best fit the concerns for the crawl space.
Solution
The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems after seeing our Google reviews online about our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier. Our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which is a liner that is thick like a pool liner meaning it will not easily rip or tear. This system will stop moisture from passing through the crawl space walls, and will stop seepage coming up through the concrete floors. Mario started the installation process by removing any debris and rocks, and leveled any uneven surfaces. The CleanSpace liner is then carefully fitted to the crawlspace, and permanently held in place with drilled-in fasteners and spikes. Now, the homeowner has a clean, and bright crawl space where they can put their storage safely.
