Crawl Space Encapsulation in Staten Island, NY

Challenge

A homeowner living in Staten Island, NY was looking for a way to relieve their crawl space of unwanted moisture. Without repair, damp crawl spaces can pose a great risk to a home's structural integrity with endless potential of damage, including problems like mold and weakening foundation. After conducting some research, they turned to Quality 1st to provide them with the most efficient solution. Our System Design Specialist, Frank, was assigned to meet the homeowner, inspect the space, and provide them with the best solution to their problem.

Solution

Upon inspection, the homeowner was provided with a quote for our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, a promising solution for moisture-control in crawl spaces. A few weeks following the estimate, our Foreman, Faustino, arrived onsite to install our vapor barrier system. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was lined along the crawl space floor and walls on top of the CleanSpace Drainage Matting, which provides a channel for the water underneath the lining to properly drain. With the entire crawl space enclosed by this system, the homeowner's worries of excess moisture and humidity inside the crawlspace were relieved. They were very pleased with the installation process and the final results!
