This Neptune City homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems, they had high humidity and water in their crawl space. System Design Specialist, Mike Bonfante, was able to design a permanent solution to the crawl space issues this family was experiencing. When Mike went and inspected the crawl space, he noticed standing water, humidity and moisture inside. He designed a solution that would prevent future water from coming in while removing the moisture and humidity and installing a Vapor Barrier System. He also recommended SmartPipe Crawl Space Drainage System to keep the crawl space dry. Jonathan Neira and his crew also installed vent covers to seal off the crawl space to prevent cold air from coming through along with a SaniDry Humidifier to allow proper air circulation.

Damp Crawl Space

This crawl space would get water every time it rained causing it to get cold and damp. That cold air would then traveling up causing cold floors on the first level of the home.

Open Sump Pump

The sump pump that had been down there just stopped working and because it didn't have a sealed tight lid, water vapors were traveling back up and out of the pump causing moisture.

WaterGaurd Below Floor Drain

WaterGuard is installed below the floor slab to keep the drainage system out of the mud zone. This will prevent mud from getting inside the drain and causing it to clog and block the water from traveling to the Sump Pump.

TripleSafe Sump Pump and SaniDry Dehumidifier

Now this Neptune City Crawl Space will be moisture and water free. This SaniDry Dehumidifier was specially designed for a crawl space allowing it to properly circulate dry air throughout the entire crawl space area.

Solution for Frozen Pipes

IceGuard is installed to allow an alternative exit of water. During the winter time the pipes could freeze which could cause the water to flow back inside the crawl space. With IceGuard, the cut outs on the top will allow the water to exit through the cut outs instead.

Seal off every opening to the Crawl Space

The crew installed vent covers on every open vent around the perimeter of the home to seal off the crawl space from the outside. These covers prevent animals and water from coming through.
