Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Moisture Removed in Lavallette, NJ Crawl Space

This homeowner had moisture in their crawl space and was interested in getting a dehumidifier. After doing some research online, they came across the Quality 1st Basement website, seeing the before and after pictures of the crawl space jobs, they noticed many of them looked just like theirs and were amazed at the after picture of the encapsulation. They wanted to learn more and so they gave Quality 1st a call who sent System Design Specialist, Mike Jersey out to see them. Mike Jersey recommended encapsulating the crawl space to protect against moisture along with a dehumidifier. The crawl space encapsulation system prevents pests, debris, moisture,  dirt and water vapor from inside the crawl space. The Q1 installation crew laid down the drainage matting on the floor. Over the drainage matting, the crew installed SilverGlo insulation to save energy and keep the crawl space nice and warm. Next, the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed on the floors and walls to waterproof and prevent cold drafts from coming in. This system will provide better air quality in the crawl space and more important in the home. The homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawl space is now protected!
