Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: New Access Wells to Crawl Space in Point Pleasant Boro, NJ

Family living in Point Pleasant, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to have new access points installed  to their crawl space along with insulation and a Vapor Barrier System. When System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, visited the property, he noticed high humidity and moisture in the crawl space. To remove the moisture and water vapor, Laszlo recommended CleanSpace which is a Vapor Barrier that seals the crawl space off from the outside environment, humidity and cold air. Project Manager, Juan Garcia and his crew installed Drainage Matting underneath the CleanSpace to prevent standing water from accumulating underneath. Vent covers were installed to prevent the humidity and cold drafts from coming through the open vents. Lastly, The Turtl, which is a durable plastic access well, provides an airtight cover which serves as a door as well.  The Vapor Barrier System is something every crawl space should have to protect not only the crawl space and foundation of the home but also the home its self since most of the air you breathe comes from either your crawl space or basement. The Vapor Barrier System will seal off the water, rodents, pests and moisture that can cause serious damage to your crawl space.
