Cold Floor on First Level of Home
The cold floor in the living of this home was caused by inadequate insulation in the crawl space area. The cold air was traveling up from the crawl space through the floor above.
Crawl Space is now Healthy
The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is installed to the Walls and floor of the crawl space over the SilverGlo Heat Barrier. The vapor barrier will protect against water seepage and moisture which could lead to mold.

With the crawl space vents not being properly sealed, humidity and moisture filled the crawl space. Over time the insulation absorbed some of the moisture which made it damp and heavy causing it to fall out of the ceiling. Once the winter came, this crawl space had no insulation to keep the area warm.
