This crawl space was a nasty space under this home in High Bridge, NJ. The area was very unhealthy allowing moisture, water, and unwanted drafts inside. System Design Specialist, Javier did a full inspection and noticed possible signs of mold caused by the standing water. Javier designed a solution that would completely seal the crawl space from the outside environment to promote a healthier space under the home.

Before Encapsulation

The dirt crawl space was musty and damp creating poor quality air that would travel up through the floor into the rest of the home.

Open Crawl Space Vent

This crawl space vent allowed moisture and unwanted drafts to easily travel inside.

Moisture Vapor Barrier

We recommended our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier for the walls and floors of the crawl space to prevent musty odors, mold growth and water seepage.

SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizers

Upon inspection, Javier noticed the structure in the crawl space needed additional support. The beams had begin to sag from the moisture and dampness in the air. SmartJacks support the sagging beams to provide additional support to the structure.

Full Waterproofing System

Esau and his team installed our SmartSump Pump System along with a full perimeter french drain system to collect and direct water from the ground and walls and pump it out of the crawl space. Our Sedona Dehumidifier was also suggested to prevent musty odors.
