This Long Valley, NJ was struggling with finding a solution to their nasty crawl space. Insulation had fallen from the ceiling due to the amount of dampness and moisture being absorbed. Small puddles of water would form in corners of the crawl space after heavy rain causing a musty odor. We sent System Design Specialist, Javier, out to inspect the crawl space, determine where the water was coming in from, and provide a permanent solution to seal and protect the space under the home.

Open Crawl Space

The existing Crawl Space cover was not properly sealed.

Falling Insulation

The insulation in the crawl space began absorbing the moisture causing it to fall from the ceiling.

Dampness

The crawl space was allowing water to easily access the inside of this space creating a musty smell and puddles of water.

Vent Cover Installed

Our Vent Cover seals the crawl space from moisture, unwanted drafts and water from coming in.

Drainage Matting Installed First

Drainage matting is installed before the Vapor Barrier to prevent water from getting trapped underneath.

Our moisture vapor barrier known as CleanSpace is a bright white liner that seals the crawl space from mold growth, water, and pests to create a healthier and dry space under the home.
