The crawl space of this Bergenfield, NJ home was suffering from water that was finding its way into the space, putting the crawl space at risk of water damage and potential foundation troubles. To relieve their home of this threat, the homeowner contacted Quality 1st for a reliable waterproofing system installation. Our System Design Specialist Mike was able to provide a free estimate upon carefully assessing the space, after which our crew, headed by Foreman Heriberto, came to perform the installation. The crawl space was equipped with a new TripleSafe Sump Pump system to handle high volumes of water disposal. Our Drainage Matting was lined across the floor of the crawl space and encapsulated with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep water out of the crawl space and flowing into the sump pump. For even more protection against moisture, one of our Sedona Dehumidifiers was installed to keep the climate in the crawl space dry and filtered. Thanks to this new waterproofing system and our crew's expertise, this home will no longer be at risk of water damaged and the homeowner can rest easy knowing that their crawl space will remain dry.

Before Waterproofing Crawl Space

Before Quality 1st's renovation, this crawl space was in bad shape from the water damage it was suffering from. Without improvement, this kind of environment beneath the home threatens the structural integrity of the foundation.

Drainage Matting Installation

Drainage Matting is installed across the entirety of the crawl space floor. The divots of this matting allow for water to flow below the vapor barrier and into the drains that will lead into the sump pump.

Clean Space Vapor Barrier Encapsulation

CleanSpace acts as a vapor barrier preventing water from getting through the encapsulation and gives the crawl space a clean finish.

Complete Waterproofing Installation

With the Drainage Matting beneath the Clean Space Vapor Barrier, a new sump pump, and a new dehumidifier, this crawl space is completely waterproofed!
