CarbonArmor Installation in Woodbridge, NJ

Challenge

A homeowner in Woodbridge, NJ noticed that the wall in their basement had multiple cracks and saw that the wall was bowing in. They called Quality 1st to inspect the damage and our System Design Specialist, Kenny went out to take a look at their foundation. After a thorough evaluation of the homeowners basement, Kenny notified the homeowner that the cracked and bowing walls were a sign of foundation failure caused by pressure from the soil around the home. He proposed the installation of the CarbonArmor System as a solution.

Solution

CarbonArmor is the only fabric carbon fiber product designed to the specific code for Fiber Reinforced Polymers on basement walls. It is stronger than concrete and steel and is made specifically for basement walls. Our foundation repair team led by Jonathan, was able to install the CarbonArmor System within a day without digging outside the home or using any heavy equipment. Jonathan and his team installed the carbon fiber strips using a special glue that allows them to hug the wall tightly and ensure the ultimate coverage and adhesion. The installation prevents further damage from happening to the wall and in some cases, helps the wall move slightly back to it's original position. One of the many benefits of the CarbonArmor system vs. other foundation repair techniques is its low-profile design. They thin straps are easy to conceal after installation and can be painted over or covered with drywall for a neat and clean finished look.
