Sagging Beams Supported in Clifton, NJ

Challenge

After purchasing a new home in Clifton, NJ, the homeowner wanted to get the basement beams inspected to ensure the floors on the first level were stable and secured. They noticed that the floors were sagging in certain spots throughout the home as well as gaps between the floor and the molding. Concerned, they contacted their local experts in Foundation Repair, Quality 1st Basement Systems. 

Our System Design Specialist, Mike F. arrived to the home, on time and started his thorough inspection. He first began inspecting the first floor of the home where he noticed the unevenness of the floor and multiple gaps that had started to form. Moving down into the basement, Mike began inspecting the basement beams and floor joist. He noticed right away the sagging beams throughout the basement. It was obvious that there was not enough support and after showing the homeowner the sagging beams they agreed that additional support was needed. 

Solution

Our System Design Specialist, Mike, explained to the homeowner that the basement beams lack support and so he recommended our SmartJack Stabilizer System to provide the ultimate solution. Each SmartJack stabilizer would be installed beneath each beam to provide additional support. In time, it can often lift each failing floor joists and beams, restoring them to their original position.
