Horizontal Wall Cracks in Asbury Park, NJ

Challenge

When homeowners of a single family home noticed horizontal cracks and inward bowing on their unfinished basement walls, it began to raise a major concern. Scared for the safety of their family and strength of their home they decided to contact Quality 1st Basement Systems.

Solution

After reviewing their options, the homeowners decided to have Quality 1st Basement Systems install fourteen (14) Geo-LockTM Wall Anchors. Installing the wall anchors would stabilize the walls with horizontal cracks and potentially straighten it over time. The anchors were installed approximately every 5’ along the walls. The installation of the 14 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors took a total of three (3) days to complete. It also stabilized the basement walls that were cracking and moving inward. The homeowners were very pleased with the work completed and once again felt safe in their home.
