Cracks in Foundation
Home located in Matawan, NJ had cracks forming in the basement walls. Water was seeping through the cement making the basement cold and damp.
Bowing Walls
The basement walls were bowing due to the foundation settlement. The soil could no longer hold the weight of the foundation causing the house to shift and the soil to push against the walls.
GeoLock Wall Anchors
Wall Anchors are placed in the ground in hard pack soil beyond the home. The Anchors will then brace the wall to prevent further inward movement. Wall Anchors are safe for the lawn and for the Interior of the basement walls.
Vapor Barrier Installed
CleanSpace was placed on the walls behind the Wall Anchors as a vapor barrier, preventing moisture. It's bright white liner gives the basement a neat and clean look.
New Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
Supersump Pump is installed with an air tight lid to prevent water vapors in the basement and the SaniDry Dehumidifier for better air quality.
Discharge Pipe Installed
A long discharge pipe is installed to pump the water at least 15 feet away from the foundation preventing the water from flowing back inside.
Lawn After Clean up
The GeoLock Wall Anchors and the discharge pipe from the basement cause minimal disruption to the lawn and once put back, homeowner will forget they are even there.
