Foundation Repair Photo Album: Wet Basement with Bowing Wall in Hopewell, NJ Home

A homeowner in Hopewell, New Jersey had water in their basement, in addition to a bowing basement wall. The homeowners contacted Quality 1st for a FREE estimate and we sent our System Design Specialist out to assess. He recommended that the WaterGuard system be installed to waterproof the basement, along with GeoLock Wall Anchors installed to address the bowing wall. WaterGuard was put in place underneath the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing to prevent the system from clogging.  To fix the bowing wall, GeoLock Wall Anchor System was installed on the walls. The wall anchors are made of galvanized steel for a long-lasting solution that will prevent any further movement. Wall anchors work by extending from the wall to the stable, hard packed soil beyond the home. They anchor into the stronger soils and brace the foundation wall, preventing any further movement.
