Bowing Walls
Bowing walls occur when the soil begins to add pressure to your homes foundation. The pressure causes the foundation wall to bow inward causing large cracks in the interior part of the wall.
Horizontal Cracks
Horizontal cracks are a sign your foundation is shifting or settling. When the soil is too wet, dry or poorly compacted, it becomes weak. That soil can no longer support the weight of your homes foundation causing it to shift and settle. Cracks form which becomes an immediate sign of foundation settlement.
Vertical Cracks
Cracks will grow and expand over time if ignored and not repaired. This could cause serious foundation failure and could cost a lot of money to repair.
