Foundation Separated
When the soil beneath your homes foundation becomes too wet or too dry, it becomes weak and can no longer support the weight of your home causing it to shift and settle. This movement creates cracks and foundation separation.
Interior Wall Cracks
When this foundation movement occurs, it doesn't just affect the exterior foundation but the interior as well. This is where you will start to see large vertical or horizontal cracks as well as stair step cracks.
Foundation Cracks Near Windows
Cracks will form in the weakest parts of your foundation. These weak spots are any openings such as door ways and windows.
Stair Step Cracking
This home was also experiencing serious stair step cracking near the steps to the front of their home.
Helical & Push Piers
Jeff Nero's permanent solution was Helical Piers and Push Piers. He recommended that 1 Helical Pier and 10 Push Piers be installed to stabilize the foundation and prevent further movement or settling.
Push Pier driven into stable soil
Each Push Pier section is hydraulically driven through the bracket to stable soil. The weight of the home is then transferred from the foundation through the bracket and piers to deep load- bearing soil.
Push Pier Installation
A specially engineered steel bracket is placed under the footing.
Original Position
Our Helical and Push Pier System brings the foundation back towards its original position!
