I have a window well in which the water rises quite high and doesn't drain into the earth very well. I have a sump pump on the inside of the house (installed by you). I want to see if there's a controlled way to allow the water in the window well to drain into the pump system so it doesn't sit there and build up when it rains.

I wanted to contact you in reference to a special request I have.

The dry wall material that was installed is of a very distinction and high quality look.

I am planing on finishing off another wall that runs next to the wall where the drain was installed.

My request is this: Is it anyway possible for me to purchase the same dry wall material with the textured fabric finish for my other wall, dimensions 3 feet high by 11 feet, 10 inches long; or, can you direct me to where I can possible purchase the same dry wall?

Redirecting Rain Seepage in a Flushing, NY Basement

Well, the rain comes down…and the rain might come in! Flushing homeowner John G. saw the rain seeping through the basement wall and he wanted some help with this problem. He contacted Quality 1^st Basement Systems to schedule a free inspection and free estimate.

Waterproofing specialist Ken Peare completed a thorough inspection inside and out, answered the homeowner’s questions and addressed his concerns, and then proposed the best solution to meet homeowner John’s needs. Installation of a SuperSump sump pump system and a WaterGuard drainage system were deemed to be the fix that John was looking for.

Water seepage from the wall would reach the WaterGuard, a patented and carefully engineered sub-floor drainage system that will never clog from soil or sediment. From there, it would be directed to the SuperSump to be pumped out of the basement. The SuperSump is an effective and efficient cast-iron pump capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour out of the home.
