Hello! I purchased a home in May and knew at the time that the basement would get some water during heavy rains. It has happened 1-2 times over the summer, but minimal. I was told outside grading along the wall where the water comes in would remedy the problem. I was surprised when the crew came to do the job. It was only a crew of 1.

I expected 3-5 people. He assured me this was a small job. I can't believe it took him only 2.5 hours. It would've taken me a month of weekends to do half as good a job. He even fixed the crack in my sidewalk with the extra cement he had left over. At lunch time I tried to give him a beer to thank him, but he refused saying he can't.

Where we work we have the ABCD award (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty)

I believe Jesus Alvarez should get that.
