A homeowner in Merchantville, New Jersey had water in their crawl space and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended that the crawl space be sealed off so no more water, moisture or humidity would enter the crawl space. Drainage matting was first installed on the crawl space floors to give the water a channel underneath the crawl space liner. The matting has raised dimples so the water does not get trapped under the floor.

CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed on the crawl space walls and floors in order to keep water vapor and humidity from passing through. CleanSpace is a durable bright white liner that will not rip or tear making it perfect for storage use. A sump pump was installed to make sure the water entering the basement gets pumped out. The TripleSafe sump pump has three levels of pumps built in to ensure the crawl space stays dry and healthy. This crawl space is free of water and ready for the homeowners to use for storage.

Basement Waterproofing in Pennsauken, NJ

At Quality 1st, we recently had the opportunity to transform a homeowner's basement in Pennsauken Township, NJ, from a constant worry into a dry, comfortable space. The homeowner was struggling with a frustrating situation. Despite having a French drain system recently installed by another company, her basement continued to flood, forcing her to remove close to 100 gallons of water a week with just a shop vac. Her sump pump was operational, yet the drainage system couldn't handle the volume of water, leaving her to manually manage the overflow. Understanding the urgency of the homeowner's predicament, we dispatched one of our System Design Specialists to conduct a thorough inspection. It was clear that the existing drainage setup was underperforming, and a robust, reliable solution was necessary to handle the water influx effectively. Our team recommended and installed the WaterGuard interior drainage system along the basement perimeter to efficiently capture wall and floor seam water leakage, redirecting it with minimal invasion to the home's structure. Complementing this, we installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, a powerhouse in water removal that not only offers triple the protection but also includes a battery backup system to ensure operation even during power outages.
