Bill arrived at the home, on time and inspected the basement. He immediately saw puddles and half the basement wall deteriorating from the water buildup. A homeowner in Ewing, NJ noticed that there was something wrong with the floors in their home. Every time the homeowner took a step, they felt like their feet were sinking into the floors. Sure enough, there were old beams that were sagging, thus causing the 'sinking' sensation in the home. Since the crawlspace has never been cleaned, the wooden beams began to rot and sag. Additionally, the weight of the entire home, itself, causes the beams to sag over time. 

Our specialist recommended that our SmartJack System will help support the weight of the sagging beam and stop the sinking sensation in the home. After hearing all of the problems, and the solution, the homeowner agreed to have his crawlspace beams fixed.  Within the next few days, our specialist returned to the home, with our crew, and they used our SmartJack System to support the sagging beam. Our crew first excavated a hole, for each SmartJack, and placed a compacted stone footing. They then cut the SmartJack, to the proper size, and installed it underneath the sagging beam. Our SmartJacks also come with adjusted screws, so the homeowner can readjust the beams in the future. 

Since the SmartJacks were installed, the floors stopped sagging, and the homeowner did not feel any sinking sensation afterward. Since then, the homeowner was completely satisfied.
