Quality Basement Service for Years!

Moisture was coming in through the walls in Hugh S.’s home anytime there was a heavy rain.  He contacted his local basement waterproofing experts for a free estimate to learn how to stop the moisture from creating musty odors and wet walls. PolyLevel Saves Pool Patio in Allamuchy, NJ

Jerry from Allamuchy was experiencing sinking concrete slabs around his pool area which concerned him since his grandchildren were still rather small and could possibly trip and fall. Jerry didn't want to remove and replace the concrete, he just wanted an easy, quick, and permanent solution. After seeing a concrete leveling truck in his neighborhood he decided to contact the company to discuss what his options were besides replacing the concrete.

System Design Specialist, Maurice Robinson, was sent to the home and did a full walk through with Jerry around the pool area. Maurice recommended that Quality 1st use PolyLevel, to raise the slab without having to remove and replace the entire concrete area. A small hole is drilled into each individual slab where PolyLevel is then injected underneath and expands, raising the concrete back to the desired level. Easy, quick and permanent just what Jerry wanted!

Foundation Repair with PolyLevel in Blairstown, NJ

Homeowner living in Blairstown, NJ noticed their house was settling more on one side than the other. Some cracks appeared in both the basement and garage against the walls in the foundation and the homeowner was very concerned that the cracks could spread creating a big foundation problem. Mike noticed large cracks across the middle of the basement floor from front to back. One side of the floor was raised about half an inch causing a tripping hazard. The Q1 team injected PolyLevel under the settling slabs to raise them back to the desired level, removing the tripping hazard and leveling the floor back to its original position. 

PolyLevel fills voids in Blairstown, NJ

Blairstown,NJ homeowner had large cracks across the middle of basement floor from front to back. One side of floor had settled almost 2 inches, creating a trip hazard. Mike recommended PolyLevel Injection instead of removing and replacing the concrete. First a small hole is drilled into the settling slab, next PolyLevel is injected underneath which expands then hardens raising the concrete slab back to its desired level.It is also used to fill any voids in the concrete as well. PolyLevel is fast and affordable. The strong but light foam is waterproof and noninvasive so it will not be affected by rain nor does it have a messy look or finish. The Homeowner was amazed at how fast the crew was able to remove the trip hazard and that within 15 minutes it could be walked on. 

Complete Crawl Space Encapsulation in Kenilworth, NJ

A Crawl Space is a damp, dark and nasty area underneath your home. It can sometimes  have either a window or a vent that will let in water, humidity, cold drafty air, and even pests. Since your home sits on this space, the air inside will travel up through to the first level and then throughout the rest of your home. This Vapor Barrier is a bright white liner that blocks the water and water vapor from breaking through. He also recommended a Sedona Dehumidifier to circulate dry air throughout the space to prevent moisture and musty odors from forming. This encapsulation would create a dry and healthy space underneath Ray's home and would create cleaner air inside. Ray was amazed that in just one day his crawl space went from a dark and damp space to a brighter and cleaner area that he could actually use as additional storage space. 

 

 

 

Foundation Wall Cracks in Allamuchy, NJ

A customer living in Allamuchy, NJ called Quality 1st when they decided it was time to address the wall cracks in their basement. Our System Design Specialist, Rey, did a full inspection of the home's foundation to make sure other cracks hadn't formed. Settling Foudnation in Vienna, NJ

Quality 1st Basements was contacted by a family living in Vienna, NJ who had signs of foundation failure. They had cracks in their foundation walls allowing light to shine through into the basement. Being a homeowner of a home with foudation issues can be really scary.
