A homeowner in North Wales, PA called Quality 1st Basement Systems to repair their sinking concrete. The entire area was sinking and settling due to the lack of support from the soil underneath the slabs. over time, soil becomes too wet, too dry, or poorly compacted and becomes weak causing movement and settlement to the concrete above. As a solution, we used PolyLevel which will bring the concrete to a raised and level position, and eliminate tripping hazards. Check out the difference!
A North Whales, PA homeowner was ready to address their concrete patio and walkway since both areas had settled causing trip hazards. They decided to have Quality 1st Basement Systems out to inspect both areas and see if PolyLevel would be the perfect solution. Polylevel is a polyurethane foam that fills the voids between the soil and concrete slab. Over time, soil becomes weak if too wet or too dry causing movement. The settlement occurs and then trip hazards form! Our team used PolyLevel to lift, level and stabilize both areas to ensure no future settlement occurs.
The crawl space of this North Wales, PA home was in need of service to resolve the moisture presence that was causing a musty odor to loom throughout the home. What it needed was a waterproofing repair that would protect the crawl space from intruding water and better control the environment. That's where Quality 1st stepped in to relieve the homeowner of the concerns they were facing.
Once the space was properly assessed, our crew arrived to give the basement a brand-new waterproofing system. We installed a new sump pump system, our SuperSump, to upgrade the power in removing water from the crawl space. The floor was lined with our Drainage Matting, which was then covered with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep water trapped below while allowing it to flow towards the sump pump. For climate control, the crawl space was insulated with our SilverGlo and equipped with one of our Sedona Dehumidifiers to ensure moisture will not pose a threat to the space. Check out how our crew completely transformed this space!

This North Wales, PA, homeowner observed concrete settlement around their homes sidewalk area, resulting in concerns relating to potential tripping hazards and a decrease in the visual appeal of the entire walkway.
In order to resolve these settlement issues, our team was able to administer our stabilizing PolyLevel Foam Injections, to lift the sunken slabs to their initial surface level. To ensure the sidewalk was entirely protected against erosion, our crew applied our ultraviolet resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant, directly into the cracks and crevices of the slabs.
We have successfully eliminated settlement issues, and in the process created a smooth and easily accessible walkway, providing this homeowner with total peace of mind!
A homeowner in Mickleton, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after discovering their sidewalk was sinking and settling. We helped repair the sidewalk using the Polylevel Injection Method. Unlike mudjacking, Polylevel is durable and lasts for years. It's also waterproof, environmentally friendly, and takes fifteen minutes to repair. Our crew injected the polyurethane foam into the void underneath the concrete slab; once the void has been filled, the foam expands and lifts the concrete to its desired height. The process is repeated until the sidewalk is repaired. Once the job has been complete, our crew did a final cleanup, and the homeowner was happy to see their sidewalk repaired.
