First, our production team carefully exposed a segment of the basement floor to set down the WaterGuard drainage system. This discreet system channels water invisible to the eye, effectively guiding it away from the surrounding foundation towards the sump pump. This home had builder-grade fiberglass insulation on the basement walls. Fiberglass is organic and, therefore, not a good product to place against damp walls. The moisture content in the insulation will cause mold and drastically lower the R values, making it almost useless. We removed the bad insulation and installed FoaMax insulation boards. FoamMax will properly insulate this basement and also act as a vapor barrier. In addition to being a much better way to insulate foundation walls, they also look great and brighten up the whole basement.

This customer had an old out dated basement that they recently gutted and now wanted to remodel. They reached out to our company in need of help of bringing their visions of a usable, multipurpose room, to life. For this project, we did a complete ceiling install, we put up our TBF EverLast Wall system around the perimeter of this basement, as well as painted the wall system, and finally, we installed our Elite Plank- Walnut flooring all throughout.
