In Wilmington, DE, a homeowner faced a common yet frustrating issue with their property's concrete surfaces. The sidewalk and driveway had settled and become uneven, creating potential trip hazards and compromising the aesthetic of the home’s entrance. Thoroughly assessing the extent of the settlement, our specialist determined that deploying our advanced PolyLevel system would effectively stabilize and lift the concrete slabs, remedying the uneven surfaces. Our skilled production team arrived at the home armed with the necessary tools and expertise. They meticulously drilled small, pea-sized holes into the concrete slabs, preparing them for the PolyLevel foam injection. As the foam expanded, it gently and precisely lifted each slab back to its original position. Following the leveling, we turned our attention to sealing the joints and cracks with NexusPro Joint Sealant. This exceptional sealant is designed to withstand UV rays and remain intact through temperature changes. By applying NexusPro, we effectively blocked water intrusion that could lead to future soil erosion beneath the slabs.
We were called out to assess the crawl space in this Wilmington, DE home. The customer had concerns that the floors above were sagging and uneven and needed our help. We came out to the property and installed 7 Smart Jacks and 4 Galvanized Steel Support Beams.
This was a previous customer of ours, we had just finished up with waterproofing their basement and they asked us to finish it as well. Included in that finish the customer requested an Egress window install as an emergency exit.
We installed a 27 x 45 In-Swing Egress with a metal well and plastic cover. Not only will this new egress add a safe exit in case of an emergency but will also add a lot of natural lighting in the basement.
This homeowner had a dirt crawl space that was bringing moisture up into the home. We installed our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system with the CleanSpace drainage matting that lays under the CleanSpace liner. Our CleanSpace liner prevents ground moisture or any type of gases going into the crawl space. By using the encapsulating system the owner of the home will notice the change of having a damp, moldy crawl space to a clean, dry space.
At this property, the owner had a number of sump systems throughout the basement and was still getting water into the home during heavy rain. We removed the old pump in the corner of the basement and installed our SuperSump pump system with Zoeller M53 iron pump. This install comes with a liner and an airtight lid that has a WaterWatch alarm system, which will let the homeowner know if the water level has risen too high. This system's feature is designed to have top performance and includes the best components.
