Quality 1st Basements was able to find a solution with our PolyLevel foam. Our Team fixed the settlement by injected polylevel beneath the slab, which raised it back into place. Our NexusPro Joint Sealant helped seal the large crack in the front porch step so that water could not enter and create more damage to the concrete.
To eliminate water coming in through the walls and floor of this Somerville, NJ home, a TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard System were installed. The WaterGuard System directs water leakage from the foundation towards the sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump then pumps the water out of the basement and away from the home. The pump is equipped with 3 pumps so ensure that it will never overflow. Additionally, the TripleSafe has an airtight lid to prevent dirt and debris from the basement from getting in and to keep the water from getting out into the air.
A homeowner in Branchburg, New Jersey noticed bowing and cracking in their foundation walls. These are signs of foundation issues. This happens because the foundation walls become weak from hydrostatic pressure pushing against the wall.
Our System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, was able to provide an inspection and find a solution to their issue. He suggested carbon fiber straps that will stabilize the walls. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System onto the walls. These straps are stronger than steel and provide ultimate protection by stabilizing the walls. These polymer strips are placed on the wall using a high epoxy resin and the straps will support the wall.
A homeowner in Old Bridge, New Jersey was experiencing water and moisture getting into their crawl space. This happens because the poorly compacted and saturated soil around the foundation creates hydrostatic pressure, which pushes water through. They called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Dane Cuccinello, suggested they encapsulate the space. Our foreman installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which would seal off the crawl space against moisture, mold, rotting and of course dirt and water.
