Just like a sidewalk or porch, your garage floor can sink and settle over time. Luckily replacing it doesn't have to be your solution. We use PolyLevel, an environmentally friendly, polyurethane foam, that lifts and level the concrete slab back towards its original position. Our team can then seal any cracks that were caused by the settlement.
Unleveled and cracked concrete can cause numerous home issues including decreasing property value, creating tripping hazards, and allowing water to seep underneath the slab. Our crew was able to repair this concrete sidewalk in North Brunswick, NJ using our NexusPro Seal. Our NexusPro Seal is used to fill and repair any cracks and large gaps within the concrete. It is totally waterproof and provides a nice and clean to the concrete. The final repair provided a glowing look for the home, giving the homeowner peace of mind.
A homeowner in North Brunswick, New Jersey was noticing their pool patio was starting to sink and settle. The reason this happens is because concrete is poured over backfilled soil around the home. Overtime, this loose soil settles and creates a void under the concrete. Another common issue is when water runs down through the cracks, it washes the soil out as it passes through. These voids cause the concrete so shift and settle. The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jeff Pitek, was able to help them. He suggested a polyurethane foam to lift the concrete and our foreman installed the PolyLevel System into the concrete. This is done by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the slab and the polymer is injected into the voids. The PolyLevel has expanding properties that allow for lifting and leveling of the slab. Now, the homeowner knows the cause of the settlement and does not have to worry about it anymore.
