A homeowner in Clayton, New Jersey contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after noticing their crawl space was attracting moisture. This occurs because the poorly compacted soil around the foundation becomes saturated during heavy rainfall, creating hydrostatic pressure which pushes water and moisture through the walls. System Design Specialist, Joe Mancini, provided an inspection of the crawl space and suggested an encapsulation. Our foreman, Wilver Cardoza, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System that is thick and durable like a pool liner and seals the crawl space from the earth's elements. Now, the crawl space is protected from water and moisture while having a usable storage space.
This Barrington, NJ, homeowner recognized ongoing water seepage issues in their crawl space that were resulting in the accumulation of mold growth and mildew. Without a proper repair solution, the owner feared that the area could suffer from detrimental structural deterioration and rot, luckily our waterproofing experts were fully prepared to provide a permanent resolution.
Once our team finished evaluating and assessing the crawl space, they began installing our specially patented Drainage Matting, our mold-resistant CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, and our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
Altogether these systems will eliminate potential rot and mold accumulation issues, and allow the owner to feel content in knowing that their beloved crawl space is structurally safeguarded for many years to come!

This driveway located in Blackwood, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for a free concrete estimate. The soil underneath the driveway was unable to support the weight of the slabs, therefore causing them to sink and settle.
