When Basement Design Specialist Mike Fiorillo met with this customer about sagging floors in the home above the crawl space, he proposed a permanent solution to his foundation issues. The SmartJack Support System, which includes corrosion-resistant galvanized steel adjustable support columns that can support over 60,000 lbs.were installed by foreman Jonathan Neira and his crew to provide immediate and permanent stabilization and to restore stability.
A homeowner in Franklinville, New Jersey noticed their concrete sidewalk was sinking. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and we used our PolyLevel Injections to raise the concrete. One of the reasons for concrete settlement is weak soil. PolyLevel is a lightweight and environmentally friendly solution that will not add any weight to the existing soil underneath the slab. PolyLevel fills the voids beneath the concrete, raising it back towards its original level. The concrete is stabilized and any trip hazards have been removed.
A homeowner in Franklinville, NJ noticed their stairs leading out to the backyard patio were sinking and pulling away from the foundation. Hoping for a solution that wouldn't involve replacing the stairs, they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to learn more about our concrete raising solution, PolyLevel. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, went out and took photos and measurements of the area. He noticed that roughly two inches of settlement occurred and that our polyurethane foam, PolyLevel could raise the existing concrete back towards original position. Take a look!
This homeowner in Belvidere, New Jersey noticed their walls were cracking and starting to bow inwards. This happens because loose soil after construction creates an active wedge where water can easily flow into it, and create hydrostatic pressure. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jay Alvarez, suggested they use a non-invasive solution to permanently stabilize the walls. Our foreman used the CarbonArmor System which is flexible carbon fiber fabric straps. The fiber straps are bonded to the inner face of the wall to stabilize it.
Check out how our Concrete Repair Team raised this sinking and settling front walkway back toward its original position! This homeowner in Washington, NJ, was constantly worried about the small trip hazards that had formed due to the concrete movement that occurred over time. Noticing that the trip hazards became more noticeable was a major sign that the movement of the slabs was still occurring. We used our PolyLevel Injections to bring the concrete walkway back to a raised and level position.
