Marlton homeowner had a termite problem in his crawl space. He contacted an exterminator who also pointed out that he had mold in the crawl space and should have it encapsulate to prevent further mold growth. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system and a SaniDry crawl space dehumidifier to stop the moisture which will prevent further mold growth! We also insulated the foundation walls of the crawl space which will help keep it warmer in the winter and therefore reducing the amount of energy the homeowner will need in the rooms above.
A resident in West Deptford, New Jersey was experiencing sinking and settling in their concrete patio. This can happen because concrete is often poured over recently backfilled soil around a home after construction. Over time, this loose soil settles and creates a void underneath the concrete. Unlevel concrete has many negative effects because it can be a serious tripping hazard. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Javier Hoyos Romero was able to help them with a solution. He suggested a polyurethane foam to level the concrete. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, used the PolyLevel Injection System underneath the slab by drilling tiny holes into the concrete. The polyurethane foam was injected into the holes. The expanding properties of the polyurethane allow for accurate lifting and leveling of the slab. Now, there are no dangerous tripping hazards outside of the home.
This West Deptford, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after noticing their concrete steps had sunk about two inches. We had our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe, inspect the area and provide a quote for the homeowner. Afterward, Chris suggested our Polylevel Injection would be the perfect repair method for the homeowner. Polylevel is a better solution than mudjacking because it's durable and long-lasting. It is also waterproof, environmentally friendly, and has a quick recovery time of fifteen minutes. After the crew completed the repair, the homeowner was happy with the results.
In Mantua, NJ we used our PolyLevel Injections to raise this sinking concrete. PolyLevel will bring the concrete to a raised and level position, eliminating any tripping hazards.
