This Baltimore MD customer reached out to us because of water intrusion in her basement. Whenever the area would receive a hard rain, she would notice water coming in through the basement wall. Our inspector Jim Logue was sent to the house to evaluate and it was determined the best case of action would be to install our BrightWall Panels and also replace their current sump pump with our SuperSump Pump.
BrightWall is 100% waterproof and will never discolor or rot. BrightWall will stop water vapor from penetrating through your basement wall all while providing a bright clean, semi finished look. BrightWall is also durable and washable.
The SuperSump Pump includes a 1/3HP Zoeller cast iron pump with a mechanical float switch, a WaterWatch Alarm System that will sound off if water rises above point where pump should turn on, a SuperLiner that is heavy duty and has 96 holes that allow water to flow in directly from below the floor and it includes an Airtight Lid that keeps moisture from evaporating in to your basement, the lid also keeps items from falling in to the sump pit and keeps out bugs, odors and radon gases.
At this property, the crawl space was extremely humid, causing the homeowner to have to run 2 dehumidifiers in order to keep down the moisture. By installing our SilverGlo graphite-impregnated insulation around the crawl space walls, it becomes a vapor barrier from moisture. After installing the wall panels, we installed our SandiDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the humidity at bay and prevent mold that leaves odors.
In this concrete crawl space, moisture was beginning to come in through the home, and the owners wanted to encapsulate the area. Basement Systems went out and installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation System with our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system that will capture any wall seepage. These systems will prevent moisture and/or water issues, keeping your crawl space dry.
In this basement, a pipe underground had burst, and the water seeping in caused the cement to crack. We dug a trench along the perimeter of the basement for us to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and to create a location for the installation of the SuperSump pump. This waterproofing system is designed to capture any water seeping into the basement and safely capture it through the vapor barrier, then flows down into the pump system, keeping the area dry.
At this church property in Baltimore, MD, the bathroom had a deep foundation wall crack that needed to be sealed. We sent our crew member to inspect the foundation wall and inject the crack with our Polyurethane Injection. After that, we followed up with our FlexiSpan Wall Crack repair, which is compatible with our WaterGuard sub-floor drain system. This will carry any moisture to the sump pump that gets captured off the wall.
