A homeowner in Glen Gardner, New Jersey reported their walls bowing inwards and cracking. This is a major sign of foundation issues and can happen because the soil around the home's foundation settles and becomes saturated. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, provided an inspection of the home. He suggested they install a strap support system to bring the wall to its original position. Our foreman, Esau Aquino, installed The CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System which is carbon fiber straps that are stronger than steel. The Carbon Armor Straps provide the ultimate stabilization to the wall and are placed on the wall with a high-strength epoxy resin. There are brackets above the system that allow the straps to be adjusted to bring the wall towards the original position.
