Quality 1st Basement Systems removed the trip hazards from this sinking front porch in Riverside, NJ. The homeowners noticed that the concrete slab had sunk a few inches over the last couple of years. The PolyLEVEL injection raises the concrete and creates a waterproof layer under the concrete. This waterproof layer prevents future soil wash out, preventing future sinking of the concrete.

SilverGlo was installed on the crawl space walls to serve as a heat barrier and reflects heat back into the crawl space for ultimate energy savings. CleanSpace was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to hold back water vapor and humidity from entering the crawl space. CleanSpace is a durable, bright white liner that will not rip or tear making it perfect if the homeowners want to use their crawl space for storage. 

Concrete settles when the soil underneath can no longer support the weight of the heavy slab. PolyLevel is a waterproofing, light weight, environmentally friendly, polyurethane foam that will lift and level the concrete back to towards its original position. This solution will permanently stabilize the slab to prevent future sinking.
