A homeowner in Berlin, NJ noticed their concrete backyard patio was sinking so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for a solution. We used our PolyLevel Injections to lift, level and stabilize the concrete area permanently.
In a residence with a finished basement, water leaks can infiltrate and compromise the integrity of the living space in various ways. For this property in Berlin, NJ, water intrusion was becoming trapped beneath the vinyl flooring, resulting in damage to the basement area. The homeowner sought to safeguard their property and prevent further exposure to harmful water conditions. Our team conducted an assessment of the basement and implemented a solution that addressed the homeowner's concerns. We replaced the existing flooring with our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring. Constructed from inorganic materials, these planks replicate the appearance of real hardwood flooring while eliminating the risks of rot and water entrapment. ThermalDry Planks feature a pegged underside that creates a thermal break between the concrete subfloor and the new flooring, while also allowing any leaked water to flow underneath without becoming trapped. Additionally, we installed our EverLast Walling on half of the wall to mitigate the risk of water damage at the base, where moisture is more prevalent. With these innovative products, this basement now boasts a beautiful and waterproof finish.

This homeowner in Blairstown, New Jersey noticed their pool patio was sinking and becoming unlevel. This can happen from soil erosion underneath the slab. When water runs down through the cracks and joints in the concrete, it washes the soil out as it passes through. We sent our System Design Specialist, Jeffrey P. to provide an inspection, and he suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift and level the concrete. We used our PolyLevel Injections by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete and injecting the foam into the voids underneath. This process is repeated until the concrete is brought to a raised position. When the job was done, the concrete was raised and level. The homeowner was satisfied with the results and they didn't have to worry about tripping hazards!
