This basement in Red Bank, NJ would flood with water after every heavy rain storm. Large puddles would form creating a damp and musty environment. Overall, the basement was cold and therefore making the first level of the home cold as well. Luckily, Quality 1st Basement Systems was able to provide a permanent solution to prevent further water seepage. The CleanSpace will now seal the basement preventing water from coming through.
Quality 1st Basements was contacted by a Red Bank, NJ homeowner who although had an existing sump pump was still experiencing water leakage from the ground and lower corners of their basement walls. Overall, due to the water, the basement had moisture and became very damp and cold. Quality 1st Project Manager, Victor Leon, and his crew drilled small holes into the foundation wall to drain the water that was seeping through causing the moisture and the dampness. The crew then installed a WaterGuard Drainage System and TripleSafe Sump Pump to properly collect and direct the water out of the basement therefore keeping it nice and dry.
A homeowner in Red Bank, New Jersey had water coming into their basement in the corner, wall and floor during heavy rains and contacted Quality 1st for a free estimate. Our System Design Specialist inspected the basement and suggested it be waterproofed. First, WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement, underneath the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing to ensure that the system does not get clogged. WaterGuard is the ideal drain system and will direct the water to the sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump was installed in the basement to make sure the basement stays dry. The TripleSafe has three levels of pumps built inside in case of one failure, the next lower level pumps will kick in. This basement is waterproofed and the homeowners can use it for whatever they need to.
Moisture and humidity can cause the paint on the cement block walls to peel and flake away as well as cause odors. Basement Design Specialist Jay Alvarez set this customer up for success by proposing the TripleSafe Sump Pump System and the highly-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air filtration system to remove moisture from the air and keep the humidity levels below 50%, reducing the chance for mold to grow and thereby eliminating odors.
When our customers in Red Bank told design specialist JC Gibriano that they didn't want to use the basement because of the humidity and moisture, he recommended a number of products to address each issue. Along with the perimeter drainage system, Mario and his crew installed our TripleSafe with battery backup and SaniDry Air System to make the basement dry and 100% useable.
