At this Nottingham home, the owner started to get a strong musty smell coming from the basement, but had no sign of water intrusion or mold. At this brick home, the owner was beginning to see cracks in the foundation and above the one window on the outside of the basement. We removed the trim at the top of the window to install the lintel, then on the outside cracks, we filled in with mortar. Once the Egress Brick Lintel is securely placed, we filled in the cracks/seams on the inside of the home with Epoxy caulking, making the newly updated window safe from window leaks.
