A homeowner in Newark, NJ noticed their concrete driveway was sinking and settling so they decided to address the concrete area and find an alternative solution to replacing it. Since replacement meant re-pouring the entire driveway, they searched online online and found Quality 1st Basement Systems concrete raising system, PolyLevel. Settling concrete is usually caused by the soil underneath being too wet, too dry or poorly compacted. Overtime, settlement occurs from the void between the slab and soil. PolyLevel is a waterproof and environmentally friendly polyurethane foam that lifts, levels and stabilizes the concrete without casing disruption to the surrounding area.
When Design Specialist JC Gibriano met with the customer, he recommended PolyLevel to repair the dip in the sidewalk that was pooling water and a downspout extension that runs under the sidewalk out to the street to remove even more water from the area. Both were expertly installed by Foreman Nick Boldman and his crew.
The driveway apron leading into the garage was sinking and settling causing a hazardous dip in the concrete. Our team came out and provided a thorough inspection and recommended our Concrete Raising Solution, known as PolyLevel. PolyLevel is injected underneath the slab fill any voids. Each slab begins to raise back towards their original position. Within 15 minutes of completion, the homeowner can drive their car over this area and into their garage.

This homeowner in Waretown, New Jersey noticed their concrete sidewalk was becoming unlevel. If this goes without repair, it could become a dangerous tripping hazard. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Joseph DelVecchio, provided an inspection. Joseph suggested a polyurethane foam to bring the concrete to a level position. Our foreman, Ramon Romero, used the Polylevel Injection. Polylevel is a better concrete repair solution because it is easy and quick to install, is more durable, and lasts for years. He used specially designed equipment to inject the polyurethane foam into the void between the slab and earth. Once the void has been filled, the polyurethane foam expands and lifts the concrete slab to its desired height.
