A Wallington, NJ homeowner needed to repair their sinking concrete walkway on the side of their home. The uneven path became dangerous after the trip hazards began to form over time from the settlement. They wanted a Concrete Expert to perform a thorough inspect and provide an alternative option to replacement. Since the concrete walk way was in good condition where there was no cracking or crumbling, this area was the perfect candidate for our Concrete Repair System, known as PolyLevel. Polylevel is an environmentally friendly, waterproof, polyurethane foam that lift, levels and stabilizes the entire concrete slab to ensure no future settlement or movement occurs.
The sidewalks around this commercial property were experiencing some major settling, leaving the concrete slabs cracked, uneven, and risky to the people walking across them. Concerned for the public's safety and the appearance of the property, the property owner reached out to our team to help level these walkways. After our System Design Specialist Nelson provided a quote, our Foreman JD went out to the site to complete the renovation. Using our PolyLevel Injection Foam, our team was able to raise these various concrete slabs around the premises to a level height. To finish off the leveling, our NexusPro joint sealant was used to fill in the cracks and spaces in between slabs for a clean and concise finish to the job.
Check out this difference! These walkways are much more presentable and safer thanks to our team.
A homeowner in Lyndhurst, NJ had a sunken concrete patio that needed to be raised. PolyLevel is a light-weight, waterproof and environmentally friendly foam that is injected underneath each sunken slab. The form expands filling all voids in the soil and begins to raise the slab back towards its original level.
A Lyndhurst, New Jersey resident noticed their concrete patio was sinking and settling. This can be a danger for tripping, and is caused by the drying out and shrinking of the soil below the slab. During times of warm weather, the soil under the slab can dry out and shrink. This leaves voids for the concrete to sink and settle. The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our foreman, Sean Johnson, installed the PolyLevel Injection. These injections are done by drilling penny-sized holes in the slab, and the polymer foam is injected into the unstable slab. This injection will lift and stabilize the concrete.
This homeowner in Rutherford, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to repair sinking concrete slabs around her pool. Quality 1st Basement Systems raised the concrete slabs using the PolyLEVEL concrete leveling system. PolyLEVEL is faster and neater than mudjacking and was a perfect solution for this home!
