After seeing their sidewalk sinking, a homeowner in Cherry Hill, NJ knew it was time to have it repaired. The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems to schedule an estimate. The appointment was scheduled with our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe. Chris arrived at the home and inspected the sidewalk. He then presented his findings to the homeowner and suggested our Polylevel Injection would be the perfect solution. Polylevel is a durable and long-lasting solution for concrete repair. Our crew used specially designed equipment to inject the polymer foam underneath the slab. Once the void has been filled, the foam expands and lifts the slab to the measured height. Once the installation has been complete, our crew did a final clean before completing the job. After the installation, the homeowner was happy to see their sidewalk repaired.
Due to the conditions of the soil underneath this walkway in Cherry Hill, the concrete sank over time and created gaps and cracks in the slabs. Our PolyLevel foreman Arturo and his team did a full walk through in preparation for the installation to make sure everything was out of the way for a success injection of PolyLevel. Once the slabs were raised and leveled, the team sealed the cracks with a joint sealant to protect the concrete against erosion, harsh weather conditions and sun exposure. The concrete walkway is now leveled, crack-free and completely safe to walk on.
