A Bristol, PA homeowner found their concrete steps were sinking an inch and needed to repair it. They found a newspaper ad for Quality 1st Basement Systems about our Concrete Lifting System, PolyLevel. Since their front porch area looked just like the advertisement they decided to contact us for a free inspection. Our System Design Specialist, Mike P., could see that the concrete had shifted and leveling roughly a few inches but was still in good condition with no crumbling. He knew Polylevel would be able to lift and stabilize these large concrete slabs and prevent future movement.
The patio of this homeowner in Ringoes, NJ was sinking 2 inches and wanted to be lifted to it's original spot. If the soil below the slab isn’t compact, the concrete can easily begin to sink as the soil beneath it solidifies and hardens. If the soil is too wet or too dry, this can also cause concrete to sink. Quality 1st Basement Systems sent out Jonathan Seminario to inspect the affected area to give a permanent solution to the problem. Jonathan explained how we can lift and level concrete without breaking and damaging the environment. Senior Foreman, Victor Leon, went out with his team to lift and level the back patio. The homeowner was happy as the slabs did not present an eye sore anymore.
The slabs in this walkway had settled unevenly, creating a tripping hazard. PolyLevel uses high-density polymer injections to raise settling concrete back to its original position. Now this homeowner can rest easy knowing his restored walkway is no longer a hazard!
A homeowner from Burlington, NJ was experiencing pool deck settlement in about 6 different places with each slab settling about 3 inches into the ground. This was dangerous, as the homeowner and his family could not predict where the unlevel slabs were and therefore could trip easily on the pool deck. Quality 1st Basements was able to help and injected PolyLevel beneath the settled slabs to lift and level the pool deck back to its original position.
A homeowner in Burlington, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after noticing their sidewalk was settling. They knew that if they did not have their sidewalk repaired before the winter, it would cause serious damage in the future. We provided a thorough inspection of the sidewalk. We recommended the Polylevel Injection Method as the perfect solution. Polylevel is waterproof, environmentally friendly, and takes fifteen minutes to recover. After the repair, the homeowner was happy to see their sidewalk was leveled and safe to walk on!
