Concrete Lifting and Leveling Before & After Photos

This homeowner in Hackettstown, New Jersey noticed their concrete walkway was sinking and shifting. They found Quality 1st Basement Systems online and gave us a call. Our System Design Specialist, Dylan McDonald, provided an inspection and suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift and level the concrete. Our foreman arrived and began using our PolyLevel Injections to bring the concrete back to a raised position. PolyLevel is a lightweight and environmentally friendly solution that will not add any weight to the existing soil. When the job was complete, the homeowner was happy with the results! 

Quality 1st was able to give the Volunteer Fire Company at Three Bridges a lift, when concrete slabs in the back entrance of the building had sunken. As a firefighting Company, they knew safety was something to be taken seriously.

Polylevel Foreman Arturo Jacuinde, and his team arrived on the scene and started to slowly remove the tripping hazard. In order to lift and level the affected area, Arturo drilled small holes into the slabs and injected a foam called Polylevel. Polylevel hardens after a few minutes and lifts the slab back to it's original position. This process took less than 15 minutes and it was able to be walked on again safely.

PolyLevel is a foam that is injected into a sinking slab of concrete, once underneath the foam begins to expand and harden raising it back to its original state.   

Over time, concrete sinks and settling due to the soil beneath no longer being able to support the heavy concrete. Trip hazards form which can cause serious injury if not careful. Sinking concrete not only hurts the value of the home but also brings a safety concern. Replacing the concrete is a temporary fix and leaves you with miss matched concrete. 

PolyLevel raises the sinking slab back to level without causing disturbance to the surrounding area. This polyurethane foam is environmentally friendly and waterproof and therefore will not deteriorate over time. This concrete leveling will stabilize the the concrete permanently to prevent future settlement.
