We recently assisted this Succasunna, NJ homeowner who was faced with significant concrete settlement issues around their backyard pool deck, resulting in an aesthetically displeasing disheveled surface and potentially fatal safety hazards. Concerned about worsening conditions and potential accidents, they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems.
Our team responded with a two-pronged approach: we used PolyLevel Foam Injections to lift and stabilize the sunken concrete, effectively restoring the deck to its proper level and creating a smooth, even surface. Additionally, we applied NexusLevel Joint Sealant to fill and seal the cracks between the concrete slabs, preventing water infiltration and further surface deterioration.
These solutions successfully addressed the settlement issues, resulting in a safe, attractive, and durable pool deck that enhanced both the functionality and appearance of the homeowner’s outdoor space!
This Lafayette, NJ homeowner struggled with ongoing settlement issues around their backyard sidewalk area, resulting in dangerous tripping hazards. Our team implemented the usage of our PolyLevel Foam Injections to lift and stabilize the sunken slabs. This required them to inject high-density polyurethane foam beneath the concrete to restore the walkway to its original height. To further address the problem and prevent future issues, we applied our ultraviolet-resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant, to fill the gaps between the slabs and seal out moisture, ensuring the surface is entirely protected from erosion. Now, the homeowner does not have to worry about dangerous tripping hazards around their home!
Our Concrete Repair team lead by Ash, raised this sinking apron back to its original state. The team was able to seal the crack with JointSeal to prevent a new crack from forming.
Bob, a homeowner living in the Bridgewater area of New Jersey, contacted Quality 1st Basements hoping for a solution to his settling sidewalk in front of his home. Our Customer Care Representative, was able to schedule him an appointment with Jay Hugee, our System Design Specialist.
Upon arrival Jay noticed the big eye sore in front of Bob's beautiful landscaped home, his sidewalks. Jay and Bob walked over each sinking slab, Jay measuring each one and then sat down to go over why his slabs were sinking and the goal he had for his sidewalks.
Bob stressed that replacing the sinking concrete was not an option for the time and disruption was going to cause him stress. Jay recommended our PolyLevel solution. Check out the great work our PolyLevel Foreman, Ash and his team did to raise the slabs back to level, removing the trip hazards and the eye sore in front of Bob's home.
This sidewalk in Bridgewater, NJ had three slabs that were sinking and settling about 3 inches into the ground. Quality 1st Basement injected PolyLevel underneath the slab and lifted it back into place. PolyLevel sets in just 15 minutes and is a cheaper option than replacing concrete.
