This homeowner from Edison, NJ wanted a quick solution for his sinking concrete patio. This lightweight but strong foam was able to lift and level the heavy slabs of concrete within minutes. The foam takes a maximum of 15 minutes to cure, so the kids were able to go back to playing outside the same afternoon it was applied.
A resident in Edison, New Jersey noticed their concrete was sinking. They called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jack Huber, helped them with a solution to this problem. He suggested they inject polyurethane foam into the concrete slab to help raise the concrete. Concrete sinks and settles because of soil shrinkage, poorly compacted soil, and soil that is too wet or too dry. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, installed the PolyLevel Injections foam into the slab. This foam will fill the void below the slab, which will level and raise it back to the original position. The installation is quick and easy and is done by drilling small penny-sized holes into the slab.
