Quality 1st Basement Systems solved a crawl space issue for this homeowner in Forked River, New Jersey. The crawl space was developing a musty smell, so we sent our System Design Specialist, Dane to provide an inspection. Dane suggested sealing the crawl space from the earth's elements. A few days later, our foreman arrived and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace will block moisture and humidity from passing through the crawl space. By having this system installed, the crawl space will stay dry and healthy all year round!
The owner of this Forked River, NJ home had problems with his crawl space. The crawl space was damp and humid which was creating the perfect environment for mold. Quality 1st Basement Systems determined that the insufficient crawl space doors were allowing outside air into the crawl space causing humidity. A Turtl crawl space door was installed to keep the outside air out of the crawl space!
Quality 1st Basement Systems replaced this Ocean county crawl space door with an EverLast crawl space door. The EverLast crawl space door is waterproof and will never rust or rot.
After encapsulating this crawl space we installed our Turtl, a durable plastic access way / door entry into the crawl space that won't rust or need to be painted. The Turtl can be locked for safety while still providing easy access when needed into the space.
A Forked River, NJ homeowner knew there was a problem with their home when they noticed the floors had begun to sag. They hadn't been down in their crawl space in some time and therefore called Quality 1st Basement Systems to do a full inspection and provide a solution.
Our Systems Design Specialist, Jack Huber, visited the homeowner and did a full inspection of the crawl space. He noticed the crawl space beams below were sagging and needed additional support to the beams. Jack suggested installing the 3-ft SmartJack System.
Our foreman, Jonathan, Niera, and his crew got to work and installed the SmartJack System. Each SmartJack is installed to the beam to provide additional support. Since the system is adjustable, it allows for the beams to gradually move back towards original position.
