After fully inspecting the basement, Jay recommended the CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier would be the perfect solution for the homeowner. CleanSpace is a liner that is installed against the walls to stop moisture and humidity. 

This homeowner in Kearny, New Jersey noticed their crawl space was damp and attracting musty smells. This happens when soil is exposed to the crawl space. Soil can hold moisture, which can eventually become water vapor that rises into the crawl space air. Mike suggested they encapsulate the space to seal it from the earth's elements. Our foreman arrived at the home and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. Our crew recently worked on a crawl space in Kearny, NJ that needed a new waterproofing system to protect it from the damage that heavy rains were bringing. To ensure a pathway for intruding water to drain away from the foundation and crawl space floor, our Drainage Matting was lined across the space. This matting directs water into the WaterGuard Perimeter Drains that will channel the water into the new sum pump we installed, our TripleSafe Sump Pump. With three pumps in one system, this new sump pump will be able to handle high volumes of leaking water without letting the space get flooded. The drainage matting was sealed with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent water from getting through, and the space was insulated with our SilverGlo Wall Insulation. With all these new components in place, this crawl space is ensured to stay free of leaking water and protected against humidity!
