Quality 1st Basement Systems received a call from a homeowner in Long Branch, NJ about their crawlspace. The homeowner was experiencing a musty smell in their crawlspace and needed a professional to find out the problem and come up with a durable solution. Our System Design Specialist, Greg Louis, inspected the area and suggested our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier would be the perfect solution. Our CleanSpace Barrier prevents dampness and humidity from passing through your crawlspace, and transforms your area into a bright-white and clean storage area.

Homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to provide a solution for preventing water and mositure from getting inside the crawl space. The Q1 team sealed off the crawl space by encapsualting it with a durable, liner referred to as CleanSpace which provides a vapor barrier. SilverGlo was installed to the floors and walls of the crawl space as a heat barrier to keep it dry during the cold months. The homeowner was very pleased with the job done and hasn't gotten water since.
This Ridgefield Park, NJ homeowner wanted to insulate their crawl space and so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for the job. The Q1 team insulated the crawl space with SilverGlo which is a heat barrier, keeping the warm air in and the cold drafts out. The team applied the SilverGlo to the rim joist as well because most of the cold air will find entry in from this part of the crawl space. TerraBlock was installed above the SilverGlo for extra insulation to prevent the cold air from coming up from the ground. Lastly, CleanSpace is applied over the TerraBlock, to seal the crawl space off from water vapor, moisture, and water, keeping the crawl space dry and providing the homeowner with a new area for storage.
Using both our PowerBraces and SmartJackXP, our team was able to stabilize the failing floor joist in this home in Ridgefield Park, NJ. First the PowerBrace is installed to the floor joist. For additional support, we install the SmartJackXPs to the brace to bring the floor joist back towards its original position.
