Quality 1st Basement Systems received a call from a homeowner in Long Branch, NJ about their crawlspace. The homeowner was experiencing a musty smell in their crawlspace and needed a professional to find out the problem and come up with a durable solution. Our System Design Specialist, Greg Louis, inspected the area and suggested our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier would be the perfect solution. The before picture shows our crew in the process of installing the drainage matting to prevent water seepage from getting trapped in between the CleanSpace Liner. 

This crawlspace had water seeping through the cracks in the foundation. Quality 1st installed CleanSpace to prevent any future water from coming in and causing serious damage. This strong liner will protect the crawlspace from animals, dirt, and water leaks. Now this Long Branch Crawl space will stay dry and clean allowing the homeowner to use it for storage purposes.

A Long Branch homeowner was experiencing water in their basement every time it rained. Luckily, the homeowners were able to find Quality 1st Basements to provide the solution they were looking for. Quality 1st foreman, Wilver, and his crew installed the WaterGuard underneath the floor, which then helps collect the water that seeps through the basement walls and drains it into the sump pump. Next, the Sump Pump was installed to make sure the basement stays dry for extended periods of time. This Sump Pump is capable of pumping 2,200 gallons of water per hour out of an 8-foot head out of the basement.      

Finally, to make the basement feel a little cleaner looking, CleanSpace Walling was installed. This wall system holds back to water vapor passing through the foundation walls, directing it to the sump pump. The basement is now water free and updated so the homeowners can have a healthy and safe basement.
