After a homeowner began noticing the floors on their first floor were sagging they contacted their local experts, Quality 1st Basement Systems to get an estimate on sagging floor repair. We sent Foundation Specialist, Jack Huber, out to inspect the floors and the basement beams to ensure there was enough support.
Upon inspection he realized the sagging floors were due to lack of support to the basement beams and floor joist. He recommended our SmartJack Stabilizer System to provide the support the beams needed. Each SmartJack is installed underneath the sagging beam and properly adjusted to allow gradual movement back towards its original position.
The SmartJack XT system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space.
Once installed in your crawl space, SmartJack XT supports can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames.
Because of its design, the SmartJack XTcan be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary.
An Avenel, NJ homeowner noticed their basement walls were bowing inwards and because of this, cracks started to form vertically down the wall. Our System Design Specialist, Laszlo, performed a full inspection and recommended to properly stabilize the foundation walls and prevent further movement, Carbon Armor Reinforcement System would be the best solution.
Installation of SmartJack XT System installed in Morganville, NJ for a homeowner who had settling issues in a finished basement.
A homeowner in Marlboro Township, New Jersey had a crack in their foundation wall in their basement, and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System was installed on the walls. The CarbonArmor strips are made from a fiber reinforced polymer that is 10 times stronger than steel and is specifically designed for this purpose. The straps are attached to the wall and secured with heavy duty steel brackets. The straps will stabilize the wall and begin to pull it back to its original position.
