After this Abingdon, MD homeowner noticed rising moisture levels in their crawl space, concerns about structural decay, mold growth, and poor indoor air quality quickly grew. Seeking a lasting solution, they reached out to Quality 1st for a professional assessment.

Our team conducted a thorough inspection to identify the exact sources of water intrusion, which allowed us to design a customized waterproofing plan tailored to the home’s specific needs.

To protect the crawl space, we installed our patented CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, creating a durable, moisture-resistant seal that prevents water seepage and inhibits mold and mildew growth. We also added our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to continuously control humidity levels and remove excess moisture from the air.

This homeowner had a dirt crawl space with a stone floor and noticed that there was mold with heavy moisture. To prevent any future mold or moisture, we were able to encapsulate the crawl space with our CrawlSpace Encapsulation. We removed debris from the space to install our SmartSump pump system with liner to pump out any unwanted water that enters the crawl space. The installer also wrapped each pier with our CleanSpace Vapor barrier along with the perimeter, sealing it air-tight and turning the space into a cleaner, brighter and moisture-free area. 

Customer was selling home and needed to get the mold and moisture under control in the crawl space. Our first step was a Full Mold Remediation, then we went on to install a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Smart Pipe, SmartSump Pump with Floor Alarm and new crawl space vents and a door.

This homeowner contacted us for help with his wet, moldy crawlspace. He needed a full mold remediation to address the issue and he was looking to get the space encapsulated as well. We began by setting up a containment area using plastic sheeting and establishing a negative air pressure zone. We then trimmed the walls to remove the affected drywall and insulation. Next, we treated all non-porous materials and the studs with Mold-X2 and botanical sealer, fogged the area with a sporicidal disinfectant, and then vacuumed the entire area using a HEPA filter vacuum. Once the mold remediation was complete, we then installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System along with a Sanidry XP dehumidifier to remove moisture from the air.

We received a call from this Leola, PA customer with concerns of his current sump pump constantly running. With this being a second home and rarely ever being there, he was pretty concerned of his electric bill and burning out the current pump. Basement Systems came out and upgraded his pump to our Triple Safe SumpPump.

Our Triple Safe is equipped with a primary 1/3hp cast iron zoeller pump, a secondary 1/2hp cast iron zoeller pump and in case of sump failure or a power outage, this system comes with a UltraSump Battery backup system.
