I live in California but own a home in Monmouth Beach N.J. where my crawlspace was affected by Hurricane Sandy. I met with my inspector Dan McNally who was excellent and explained what I need to fix the water problem in my crawlspace. Before contacting Quality 1st Basement Systems I searched them online and felt good about the reviews that I read on Angie's List. I got a sump pump installed as well as a dehumidifier and vapor barrier. My crawlspace is finally dry, the installation crew did a fantastic job!

After doing some research I came across Quality 1st Basement Systems and liked the positive reviews that I read on Angie's List. My initial call with the office staff was professional and efficient, all of my questions were answered and I was able to set a free estimate appointment. My inspector Rick was courteous, thorough, and thoughtful. When it came down to getting the work done and having my crawlspace waterproofed the installation crew was wonderful and not at all intrusive. In the end I chose Quality 1st because they seemed to be very professional and experienced as a company.

I appreciate that Kyle took the time to check our backup battery with his volt meter when indicated the battery was still good. 

Quality 1st installed a drain system in a basement room: sump pump and dehumidifier, plus wall covering that provide a barrier over the foundation walls. In addition, they hooked my rain spout into the drain outside so both rain and water from the roof and any water from the sump pump will drain out into the yard. That was a plus to having a dry storage room in my basement!The installers were friendly, efficient, and informative, especially Louis! He told me everything I needed to know about the dehumidifier.I have already recommended Quality 1st to someone else!

Quality 1st Basement’s crew led by Luis was highly professional and competent. Their work in cleaning out the crawl space, removing old insulation, and installing the turtl entry was of the highest quality. Clean-up was very good and one wouldn’t even know that work was done there. They were very responsible and respectful. This is a review for Quality 1st Basements in New Jersey. They waterproofed my basement in North Jersey last year. Dane recommended the Triple Safe sump pump which operated when my power went out this weekend and kept my basement dry! The foreman Wilver and his team did a great job with the installation, 5-star experience!
