When we first arrived at the Owings Mills building, the basement walls were bare, and water was finding its way inside. Recognizing the risks this posed to a soon-to-be-finished space, we installed a tailored waterproofing system. Our work included setting up the WaterGuard perimeter drain, paired with a SuperSump system that effectively channels water out. To handle winter challenges, we added the IceGuard, which allows discharge even if the exterior lines freeze. Finally, we installed the CleanSpace wall liner, providing a protective barrier that will keep moisture out. Today, the basement stands transformed—ready for finishing without the worry of future water intrusion.
