This homeowner was experiencing water intrusion in their basement in Towson, MD. The water was coming up through the bottom of the doorframe. The moisture was creating potential mold on the wall. Our System Design Specialist did a full inspection and suggested TrenchDrain to drain the water at the doorway and direct it to the sump pump. The homeowner could now relax knowing that their basement was protected from further water damage and mold growth.
This Baltimore County resident asked us to come out to another property of his for basement waterproofing. Leaving that property behind and purchasing another in the same county, it unfortunately had the same issue, when it would rain, water would enter in through the block foundation walls. Liking the waterproofing system that was installed at his other property, he reached back out to us for help.
We fully waterproofed this basement with the help of our CleanSpace vapor barrier, Waterguard, SuperSump Pump and IceGuard. Our CleanSpace is placed from floor to ceiling on the foundation walls and it is tied directly into the Waterguard perimeter drain. Any water that may think it is getting into this basement to cause issues, will be met by this barrier and it will be directed straight down to the Waterguard. Once water enters the Waterguard it will then travel over to the SuperSump Pump. SuperSump then takes that water and pumps it outside via the discharge line. As added protection for the basement, we installed our IceGuard on the exterior of the foundation, where the discharge line is. Thanks to the design of our Iceguard, it will stop any water from backing into the basement if and when the discharge line freezes in those cold winter months.
We recently assisted a homeowner in Baltimore, MD, who had been dealing with persistent wet basement conditions caused by ongoing water seepage, primarily due to a lack of proper drainage support. As moisture continued to infiltrate the space, the homeowner became increasingly concerned about the potential for mold growth and structural decay. In search of a permanent solution, they contacted Quality 1st to address the issue before it caused further damage. Our team quickly assessed the situation and developed a plan to install a comprehensive waterproofing system to resolve the ongoing water problems and protect the integrity of the home.
Our team arrived at the home and began by installing our patented WaterGuard Drainage System around the perimeter of the basement to effectively capture and redirect water away from the foundation. To ensure reliable water removal, we installed the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump, which is designed to handle high volumes of water. We also added our IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent freezing and ensure proper water flow during the colder months. To further protect the space, we installed CleanSpace Wall Panels, which provide a moisture-resistant barrier against future water intrusion. With these high-performance systems in place, the homeowner’s basement is now dry, healthy, and protected, giving them peace of mind knowing their home is safeguarded from future water damage.
At this property there was high moisture in the basement which was giving off the musty odor and when walking down into the lower level you'd get hit with the mugginess. The owners reached out to our company for a system that will eliminate the problems that they are experiencing. We installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier that is designed to remove the muggy feeling, high humidity and even can relieve asthma. We attached the system to the sump system that will drain right into it and connected an UltraSump Battery that will keep the system on incase of a power outage or trip circuit.
In this basement the owners were experiencing damp walls which were leaking onto the floor and creating moisture throughout. We installed our CleanSpace Wall System that is a waterproof resistant barrier that is effective for the type of moisture they are experiencing. This wall barrier will capture all wall leakage and carry any leaks down into the sub-floor drainage system which safely removes the unwanted water.
